SCELP's 10th Annual Wild Side

  • Kaminski House Museum 1003 Front Street Georgetown SC 29440 (map)

The South Carolina Environmental Law Project (SCELP) will host its 10th annual Wild Side on Saturday, October 12th at Kaminski House in historic Georgetown. This year, we are paying homage to the state’s Watersheds, Ocean, Wetlands — the WOW of South Carolina — and will celebrate multiple milestones, including SCELP Executive Director Amy Armstrong’s 10th year as the organization’s leader, as well as her birthday. Join us for food, drinks, live music and good company!

Founded in 1987, SCELP is the only non-profit environmental law firm focused exclusively on South Carolina and has been involved in nearly every environmental protection case in the state since that time. We provide free and low-cost legal counsel and advice for the greater public good, routinely representing groups and individuals seeking to protect their communities, wildlife habitats and overall quality of life.

In 2010 we created our annual fundraiser Wild Side to honor the legacy of SCELP’s late founder, Jimmy Chandler. It has since become a wildly popular community gathering and remains a vital source of financial support of our work.
